Sponsorships

Through the years Asia Web Direct has been involved with a number of prestigious events around Southeast Asia. Through our destination portals we have been able to generate valuable exposure for these events, while providing useful information to tourists at the same time. Some of the sponsorships have included the King’s Cup in Phuket, the biggest yacht race in the region, the Tasar World Championship, a sailing event that also took place in Phuket, and the Ploenchit Fair in Bangkok. We are the official online media partner of the Royal Trophy Golf Championship, a high profile tournament that sees the greatest golfers from Europe and Asia competing for stewardship of the coveted trophy. In collaboration with Thailand Tatler, Asia Web Direct also publishes the online version of the very popular Thailand’s Best Restaurants guide.

Asia Web Direct furthermore supports the Phuket International Women’s Club – a social networking group that lends a helping hand to children in Phuket who require financial assistance to further their education – by hosting the organisation’s website. Another Phuket-based initiative that we are a member of is the Life Home Project, with activities based around providing a shelter for mothers who are HIV-positive and their children, skills development, an outreach and community action program, as well as educational scholarships
